<strong>Descriptive:<\/strong> show what the information looks like<br>&#8211; <strong>Expressive:<\/strong> impactful imagery<br>&#8211; <strong>Constructional:<\/strong> show relationships between parts <br>&#8211; <strong>Functional:<\/strong> show a process or system<br>&#8211; <strong>Logico-mathematical:<\/strong> show a mathematical concept<br>&#8211; <strong>Algorithmic:<\/strong> show range of possibilities<br>&#8211; <strong>Data display:<\/strong> illustrate textual information<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><span style=\"color:#ca7300\" class=\"has-inline-color\">Read more about different types of charts:<\/span> <\/strong><br><a href=\"https:\/\/venngage.com\/blog\/how-to-choose-the-best-charts-for-your-infographic\/\">How to Choose the Best Types of Charts For Your Data<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Another thing to keep in mind is to make your piece replicable by <strong>using basic elements such as shapes and icons<\/strong>, that way it could be easily modified and reuse for other materials.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\" \/>\n\n\n\n<p>Below is an example of the process one would go through when creating an instructional graphic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Example<\/strong>: &#8220;Interactive&#8221; What is the audience supposed to learn from your piece? Which part of the information is important?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"color:#898989\" class=\"has-inline-color\">The arrows are prominent elements on the map, which we should keep.<\/span> <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"color:#898989\" class=\"has-inline-color\">The text labels are clustered together and hard to read, we can fix that by using icons to represent produces because shapes and symbols have stronger visual impact than plain text.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>3. <strong><strong>Choose a theme<\/strong><\/strong>. What is the tone\/visual style?
