This can be seen in the slides above. Since these are computer science courses, they typically have nodes or circuits in the design.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Here are elements that can be included in the logo design:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Make the logo white, for variations in the logo, you can lower the opacity of the white.<\/li><li>Circles<\/li><li>Lines<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><strong>Animation Process:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><a href=\"https:\/\/utexas.box.com\/s\/mhr0p08m8fexwfirizk8tev3a7un643v\">https:\/\/utexas.box.com\/s\/mhr0p08m8fexwfirizk8tev3a7un643v<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For this CSMS, there is a standardized After Effects template that should always be used when creating the animations. Your main focus would be:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Selecting the appropriate template &#8211; subtitle or no subtitle<\/li><li>Changing the background color for the respective course (blue, orange, tan)<\/li><li>Changing the course and professor name<\/li><li>Importing and animating the Illustrator logo<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>Now let\u2019s go in-depth for each of these steps:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Template:<\/strong><\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>When you open up the After Effects template, you will have to choose which template composition you want to use. Depending on the course you are given you might only have a title, or a title with a subtitle. By double clicking on the title, you can change the name of the course.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/lh5.googleusercontent.com\/4KsEi6oPHPdRyobyxqY3JWgazdJk6DDG4ab1GUuFjiPi3U6ZOEb-xRHzciNHiMayhnoX-SsSDvrxkFkS7KCxogvN9Qo_5oht8Tk8yTX1SaZJZU0lIB8rfPj6Dxpu8r3EsUIt69mZ2W9ZAtu5zgC8a2uois7jfZJ8fszjFaLV341NjE-hZJxjdGd-6JXrOw\" alt=\"\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Add the end of the course title, leave <strong>a space and a period<\/strong>. This is to ensure the cursor at the end of the title continues blinking in the animation.<\/li><li>With the course title selected in the menu, go to effects for the type_on animation. You will adjust the slider to where the cursor stops on the period.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/lh5.googleusercontent.com\/3pOxD5B3ZKb7rbp047t0HFoXWZo4UzcQ1G0b5u6cn6SE6Um-VO1V2zmGpsHNZ-vgC5Ckgso7U72_85Lc5chA0v9wROffHgqirIJSadwOGBym6BzM85ef_QfzlBED-pPKHOUbtNsf145Bajl7aepm4dXuvEzPfuOMRJ167tocV_5MgzuFZqWIZKFvbN9Hmg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>For the professor name and the subtitle(is needed), it slides from under the main title text with a mask.
