My name is Jennifer Carter and I’m an undergraduate student in the College of Education with a focus in kinesiology. I’m also getting a certificate from the McCombs School of Business. Before attending The University of Texas at Austin, I was enrolled in a dual credit program that allowed me to receive my Associates of Science degree and high school diploma simultaneously. The interest in sports studies came from my fascination of how critical the role of sport in society has been for thousands of years. Studying abroad in Leeds, UK and the surrounding cities will provide a better understanding of not only sport history, but the shaping of English society as a whole. I enjoy watching many sports with my favorite being American football. I look forward to be submerged into English sports such as cricket and rugby.
