Recordings will automatically become available to your students once they are processed after the class meeting concludes unless you have setup delayed release or hide all<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n

If you would like to hide a specific recording so students are not able to view it, click on the Lectures Online tab in your Canvas course.\u00a0 This will load the Lectures Online app.\u00a0 You will see a full list of all recordings to date for your course. Click on the Visibility link in the upper-right corner.<\/p>\n

The Visibility Rules page will load.\u00a0 In the “Visibility rules type” you will see “Hide episodes” along with a list of all recordings, even those that have not yet taken place.\u00a0<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

1. Select the box next to the recording you would like to hide (you can select as many recordings at a time as you would like, even those that have not yet taken place).<\/p>\n

2. Click the ‘Save’ button below the list of recording dates. <\/span><\/p>\n

Click on the player in the upper-left corner and you will see that the recordings you selected are now hidden from students (yellow eye icon with a slash through it).\u00a0 They will be able to see the name of the recording, but it will be grayed out and not able to play.\u00a0 Academic staff such as instructors and TAs will still be able to view the recording.<\/p>\n
