When a word with a final [-e] is followed by any of the personal possessive endings and also by ast ‘is,’ it is assimilated into the following /a/ vowel (which is the initial sound of the personal suffix); for example (note the displacement of the stress):

my house	xāne^\|-am	خانه/خانه ام	xuna^\|m	خونه م
your child	bačče^\|-at	بچّه/بچّه ات	bačč^\|at	بچّه ت
his/her maternal aunt	xāle^\|-aš	خاله/خاله اش	xāla^\|š	خاله ش
our group, team	daste^\|-amān	دسته/ دستا مان	dassa^\|mun	دستا مون
your package, bundle	baste^\|-atān	بسته/ بسته تان	bassa^\|tun	بسه تون
their lane, street	kuče^\|-ašān	کوچه/کوچه شان	kuča^\|šun	کوچه شون
he/she is [at] home	u xāne^\| ast	او خانه است	un xuna^\|s	اون خونه ست
